3.1 What is the AI Assistant?
The AI Assistant is a conversational interface that runs portfolio analysis on your behalf. You describe what you want in plain English, and it handles the rest - running backtests, optimizations, and simulations using the same data and calculations as the manual tools.
How to access it
Open the AI Assistant from the sidebar navigation.
What you can do
- Analyze a portfolio: describe your holdings or paste in tickers, shares, or weights directly into the chat
- Ask questions: compare funds, evaluate strategy trade-offs, explore "what if" scenarios
- Run analysis: the assistant runs backtests, optimizations, and simulations for you, then explains the results
- Multi-step conversations: follow up on results, refine your inputs, and build on previous answers in the same session
Model selection
You can choose between multiple AI models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) using the model selector in the chat. Different models may give slightly different explanations while using the same underlying data.
Chat history
Your past conversations are saved. Use the history toggle in the chat header to browse and resume previous sessions.
Plan requirement
The free plan includes a limited trial of the AI Assistant. Full access requires a Premium or Professional plan and uses AI Credits.
