Definition

月初来リターン（MTD）は、当月の初日から現在日までの投資の累積リターンを表し、進行中の月のリターンを把握するものです。

$\text{MTD} = \left(\prod_{i=1}^{n} 1 + R_i\right)^{\frac{1}{n}} - 1$

where $R_i$ is the return for day $i$ of the current month.
